Shunterris Shaynce Salter

Shunterrris Shaynce Salter entered this world on June 29, 1989 to Sherita Salter in the big town of Marvell, Arkansas.  

 

“Terry” or “Worm,” as she was often called, was a true spirit and a complete light to those who encountered her.  Terry had an infectious smile, and her spontaneous outbreaks of whatever she felt like doing would make the Grinch become happier.  She was and forever will be the light that continues the life of the party.  

 

The memories of Terry will continue to make our hearts smile as she impacted our lives in such a positive way.  A longtime resident of Marvell, Arkansas, she built the foundation of her name by saying my name is T. E. TO THE RRRRRRRRRR Y.  A fighter, a dancer, and a confident comedienne in her own right.  She moved to Dumas later and had to let the city know that SHUNTERRIS SALTER is here, and she did just that.  She graduated in 2009 as a Dumas High School Bobcat.  Terry joined New Creation Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Charles Jones and Elect Lady Jennifer Jones in Fort Worth, Texas in October 2020.  Terry was truly a radiant force all by herself!

 

Her handsome and loving son, JaMichael Petty, joined her in departure on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

 

She leaves to mourn her mother:  Sherita Salter of Little Rock, Arkansas; her beautiful daughter:  Tyriona Wade of Little Rock, Arkansas; two (2) sisters:  Tershandelyn (Awkille) Freeman of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Ineshia Salter of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two (2) brothers:  Trevellis (Britteny) of Dumas, Arkansas and Lerrell (Valarie) of Little Rock, Arkansas; her grandfather:  Willie Salter of Greenwood, Mississippi; a special cousin:  Ebony (Roderic) of Wilmer, Texas; and a special brother:  Dewayne Millbrooks of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
