Sedric “Spike” Hoskins was born on October 09, 1980 to Luesinda Hoskins and Ervin Harris. Sedric confessed his hope in Christ at an early age at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor I.E. Holland.
Sedric is preceded in death by his loving mother: Luesinda Hoskins; and his father: Ervin Harris.
Sedric is known for his charming character, his infectious smile, and his helping and hardworking spirit. Sedric graduated from Marvell High School in the Class of 2002. After high school, Sedric worked for Phillips County Development Center. He also worked alongside of his uncle, Billy “Mike” Williams, learning many skills and trades such as painting and carpentry. Sedric was employed at Hoffinger Industries until his sudden death.
Sedric leaves to cherish his memories his son: Prenicious Craig; three (3) sisters: Takeda (Darryl) Brown of West Helena, Arkansas; Makayla Harris; and Imani Thomas; three (3) brothers: Malik Harris of Des Moines, Iowa; Pretash Harris of Des Moines, Iowa; and Saigon Harris of Des Moines, Iowa; eight (8) aunts: Jerlene Prowell of Marvell, Arkansas; Loretta Jarrett of Marvell, Arkansas; Fredonia (Malik) Hakeem of Pensacola Beach, Florida; Bernice Hill of Moro, Arkansas; Dorothy Hill (Greg) Williams of Moro, Arkansas; Glenda Hill of Little Rock, Arkansas; Hattie (Stafford) Stutton of Dallas, Texas; and Earletha Jiles of Poplar Grove, Arkansas; five (5) uncles: Theoartis (Diane) Owens of Norfolk, Virginia; Billy Williams of Marvell, Arkansas; Willie Harris of Albuquerque, New Mexico; John Collins of Poplar Grove, Arkansas; and Terry Harris of Des Moines, Iowa; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who he loved dearly.
