Robert Williams, Sr. was born October 29, 1951 to the late John and Roberta Tate-Williams.
Robert confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at the Asbury Missionary Baptist Church of Marvell, Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend H.A. Atkins.
Robert was a diligent worker who was respected for his work ethic, friendliness, and gentle spirit. Outside of his work, he was a dutiful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed lawncare, barbecuing, listening to the blues, daily conversing with his siblings, and caring for his devoted companion, Bella.
On Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 8:57 p.m., while in the care of Regional One Trauma Medical Center, he transitioned to the Heavenly Realm while he was surrounded by his wife, sons, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents: John and Roberta Tate-Williams; and his brother: John Williams, Jr.
Robert leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife: Wanda of forty-six (46) years; three (3) sons: Arlando, Sr.; Robert, Jr. ( Laquandra); and Levail; a grandson: Arlando, Jr. whom he raised; one (1) brother: James (Sentha); four (4) sisters: Glover, Delois, Veora (Fred), and Gwendolyn; nine (9) grandchildren; eight (8) great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special companion, his American Bully, Bella.
