Margaret Ann Gines Anderson Obituary

In the year of 1966, a daughter was born to the late Cornelius Gines, Sr. and the late Eula V. Gines.

Margaret was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Reverend R.D. McCoy at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Marvell, Arkansas.

Gretta, as she was affectionately known by many, was a 1985 graduate of Marvell High School where she enjoyed playing the trumpet for Marvell High School Band.  Upon graduating high school, she attended Phillips County Community College and studied Cosmetology.

Gretta was joined in Holy Matrimony to Michael Anderson and later moved to Dallas, Texas to work in the Nursing field (R.N.).  In 2003, Gretta’s passion led her to become a Wedding Coordinator.  She loved giving her time to God, cooking, gardening, fishing, and spending time with her children and family.

In 2004, she moved back to Arkansas where she joined fellowship with St. Peter Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Joe Patterson where she enjoyed singing in the choir alongside her children.  In 2015, she became a faithful member of New Light Missionary Baptist Church in Helena, Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend Andrae Valley until her failing health.
