Johnny Lee Womack, Sr. was born on April 16, 1949 in Lexa, Arkansas to the late Sadie Lee Walton and Henry Womack, Sr.
He confessed a hope in Christ, and chose Christ as his Savior. He was a member of Blackfoot Baptist Church, and a certified, faithful Chaplain who administered to inmates and hospitals.
Johnny was meticulous about working and obtaining wealth. He would sometimes work two (2) jobs as a Factory Worker and as a Security Guard.
Johnny departed this life on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. after a long, debilitating illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Sadie; his father: Henry; his stepfather: John D. Hughes; two (2) brothers: Henry Womack, Jr. (Charles Hughes); and Randolph Hughes; one (1) sister: Carol J. Hughes.
Johnny leaves to mourn his passing one (1) son: Johnny Lee (Shantel) Womack, Jr.; one (1) daughter: Carrie Womack; two (2) granddaughters; three (3) brothers: Roosevelt (Belinda) Womack; John (Tammy) Hughes; and Leon Hughes; six (6) sisters: Ruby Stewart; Martha George; Barbara (Fred) Custard; Helen Brewster; Inez (Michael) Sutherland; and Wynee (Marcus) McDaniel; two (2) devoted nieces: Joycelyn (Terrence) Hughes Lockett; and Latanya (Tracy) Hughes Compton, who never left his side and who loved and supported him; one (1) aunt: Elizabeth Spain; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
