Cecil D. Craig, also known as “Joe”, was born on June 22, 1942 to the late Willie C. Craig and Lucille English in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He moved to Marvell, Arkansas where he resided.
He accepted Christ at an early age.
Cecil went to be with the Lord Almighty on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Marvell, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Willie C. Craig and Lucille English; his wife: Ollie “Honey” Lee Craig; one (1) daughter: Carlvine (Carolyn) Uvett Lawrence; one (1) stepson: Ardell Murray; two (2) sisters: Roberta Craig Williams and Annie Lee Mills; and two (2) brothers: Ollie B. Craig and Steve Holliday.
Cecil leaves to cherish his memories two (2) daughters: Patricia Craig of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Lynettra (Willester) Black of Marvell, Arkansas; three (3) sons: Bernard Craig of St. Paul, Minnesota; Arnell (Velashia) Craig of Marvell, Arkansas; and James (Sarah) Murray of Little Rock, Arkansas; four (4) sisters: Emma Pirtle; Bobbie Calloway; Betty Dyson; and Lucy (Kevin) Seals; two (2) brothers: Dearcie (Rose) Holliday; and Trent (Angie) Holliday; two (2) favorite niece and nephew: Deborah (George) Drayton; and Odell (Sharon) Williams; sixteen (16) grandchildren; fifteen (15) great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
