Brittany Shanee Ivy

Brittany Shanee Ivy, affectionately known as Britt-Britt, was born on June 22, 1991 in Little Rock, Arkansas to her loving parents, Linda Ivy and the late Eddie Wilson.

Britt was just the most beautiful, smiling ray of sunshine.  During earlier days, Brittany attended Phillips County Developmental Center where she received the best care in Physical Therapy and Fundamental Learning for eighteen (18) years.  Her favorite past time was being cradled in the arms of her father while rocked and spoiled by the calm of his deep voice, head massages, and occasional humming pawned off as lullabies.  Brittany absolutely adored her mother, as well as her longtime caretaker of twenty (20) plus years, Levette Lamar.  Brittany survived some of her most toughest health battles and lived on to conquer nearly thirty-two (32) years of life until God gracefully came to reclaim his beautiful child on May 27, 2023 in Houston, Texas.

Brittany will take her final rest with her father:  Eddie Wilson; her loving grandparents:  Mary Meadows; Lofton and Maybelle Wilson; Sedell and Catherine Ivy; and her cousins:  Karen Ivy-Croft and Janice Ivy.

Her sweet memory will be cherished by her loving mother:  Linda Ivy of Houston Texas; her sisters:  Torshall Ivy of Barton, Arkansas; Elondrea Butler of Denver, Colorado; and Candance Ivy of Houston, Texas; her brothers:  Sercy Hollis of New Orleans, Louisiana; Reginald Turner of Houston, Texas; and Courtney Ivy of Jonesboro, Arkansas; her nieces:  Keya Hollis; Michaela Hollis; Keaire Kemp; Gabrielle Kemp; Amaya Kemp; Hayley Heard; and Leah Ware; her caretaker: Bosie of Houston, Texas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
