Bobbie Jean (Smith) Davis was born on July 28, 1944 to the late Robert and Earnice Smith.
She accepted Christ at an early age. She later became a member of the First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church of Poplar Grove under the leadership of the late Reverend Moses Tillman.
She attended the M.M. Tate School District where she received her formal education. Later in life, she attended PCCC and received an Associate Degree in Business.
Bobbie worked for the Marvell School District as a Teacher’s Aide and Administrative Assistant before becoming the Project Manager for RCH Housing Project.
She enjoyed shopping, solving puzzles and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Rudolph Davis; her parents: Robert (Boboil) and Earnice (Janie) Smith; a brother: Clarence Sebastian; and a sister: Hattie Smith.
Bobbie leaves to cherish her fond memories two (2) sons: Ronald (Linda) Robinson of Garland, Texas; and Daron (Tara) Goodrich of Conway, Arkansas; nine (9) daughters: Kisa (Alfred) Thomas of Little Rock, Arkansas; Lakiki (Thomas) Wright of Marvell, Arkansas; Ronda (Upton) Hunter of Marvell, Arkansas; Jackie (Larry) Sims of Little Rock, Arkansas; Brenda (Larry) Oates of Little Rock, Arkansas; Sandra (James) Hughes of Little Rock, Arkansas; Joan Alexander of Little Rock, Arkansas; Sharon Carroll of Little Rock Arkansas; and Veronica (Sidney) White of Chicago, Illinois; one (1) grandson who she raised as her own: Jamyron Nelson; twenty-eight (28) grandchildren; thirty-six (36) great-grandchildren; a special niece: Carolyn Jacobs; and three (3) life-long friends: Helen Davis; Revertis Gist; and Rosie Lee Bobo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
