Annette Pike was born on May 28, 1961 to Louis and Delphine Pike in Marvell, Arkansas. Annette accepted Christ at a young age at Branch Missionary Baptist Church. After graduating from Marvell High School in 1979, Annette moved to Pasadena, California where she attended Pasadena City College.
After attending college, Annette began her career at Bank of America & Home Savings and Loans. In January 1991, Annette gave birth to a baby girl who she named Angela and later in 2003 gave birth to a baby boy who she named Alex.
Annette settled with her two (2) children in Los Angeles, California where she continued her education by receiving a BA in Psychology and worked at Mt. Carmel Treatment Facility as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
Annette loved helping people. She was also a dedicated fan of the Anaheim Angels. She would take her daughter and nephews to the games with her. She had a passion for working with children. Recently, she started doing Bible Trivia. Annette loved being a grandmother. The week before she made her transition, there was not a minute in the day where she was not loving on her grandbabies.
Annette rededicated her life to Christ in February 2022 at the Kingdom Believers Church in West Helena, Arkansas under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Terrance D. Pryor.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Delphine Pike; one (1) sister: Brenda Pike; and two (2) brothers-in-law: Kirk Scott, Sr.; and John Booker.
Annette is survived by her two (2) children: Angela (Markheyvian) Carter of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and Alex Loupe of California City, California; three (3) grandchildren: Azurie Carter; Azyre Carter; and Axylan Carter; nine (9) brothers: Solomon (Sporty) Herring of Marvell, Arkansas; Louis (Punchie) (Linda) Pike, Jr. of Camden, Arkansas; Stanley (Ira) Pike of Fort Worth, Texas; Quincy (Chanel) Pike of Atlanta, Georgia; Tracy Pike of Encino, California; Stevie (Jamie) Pike of Bryant, Arkansas; Martin (Monique) Pike of Antioch, California; Andre (Robin) Pike of Antioch, California; and Mark Pike of Antioch, California; four (4) sisters: Gloria (Jerome) Nunn of Altadena, California; Corrine Booker of Marvell, Arkansas; Donna (Elton) Spears of Fontana, California; and Sharon Scott of California City, California; one (1) aunt: Annie Zachary-Pike; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
